Engineer by profession, explorer by nature. I've spent years documenting the best places to eat, drink, and discover in cities around the world.
These guides started as personal notes — Google Maps lists and scattered recommendations shared with friends. After the hundredth "what's your favorite coffee shop?" question, I decided to make them more accessible.
Every place in these guides has been personally visited. No sponsored content, no affiliate links, no algorithmic recommendations. Just honest opinions from someone who genuinely loves finding great spots.
The Philosophy
Quality over quantity
I'd rather have 50 exceptional recommendations than 500 mediocre ones. If it's on the list, it's worth seeking out.
Context matters
A great date spot is different from a great work-from cafe. I try to provide the context you need to pick the right place.
Always updating
Cities change constantly. I remove places that have declined and add new discoveries as I find them.
No gatekeeping
There's no point in keeping great places secret. Good spots deserve support from more people.
Work
By day, I work on infrastructure and network automation at Stripe. Previously at various startups doing backend engineering and DevOps.
